Hard to read dialAug 13, 2008 I got this watch as a gift 2 years ago. It still works great. No problem with the crystal breaking and I don't mind the ticking noise(watches tick). I have a big problem with being able to read the dial in any low light situations. I like a watch that I can glance at and know the time. This is a major annoyance to me.
Excellent value for the $$Aug 09, 2008 I have other Skagen watches (this one replaces one that I smashed - long storey). The watch looks much more expensive than it is - so you can wear it with jeans or with a suit.
Is very thin, fits extremely well, has an adjustable band that is very simple to use, and looks fantastic. What more could you ask for in a watch at this price. Oh - it is also very accutate!!!
Didn't Last a WeekJul 05, 2008 I bought this watch full price from our local department store. It looks nice and is comfortable and sleek on the wrist. I read some of the reviews here and saw people reported the crystal blew out with out any trauma. I thought--they were crazy.
Well, I wore mine for 6 days, took it off for the night and while it was resting on the table we heard a "ping" and could not believe our eyes...the center of the watch face exploded and little chards of crystal were all over! Had many watches and have never seen anything like this in my life. There is definitely a design flaw with this watch.
Skagen WatchMay 19, 2008 The watch is comfortable, I like the mesh band a lot. It is hard to see the hands in the evening and night.
People mistaken the general appearance of the watch referring to it as made of plastic. I would buy other color.
Buyer BewareMar 08, 2008 Crystal broke only after 3 days of wearing, looked up warrenty $9.00 for shipping and $25.00 for replacement crystal. Total $34.00, I got the watch for $79.00.
